If your referring to the Edmund Fitzgerald and disaster session wind at buffalo last Sunday last Sunday was a fucking light wind joke compared to the day the Big Fitz went down!!!nice video good perspective but not even close to Nov.10,1974!!!i,m a fucking old man now was on the water that day 19years old slept in a duck blind that nite was blowing so hard could not leave presque isle in boat to return to Erie.last Sunday it was only blowing on eastern Lake Erie sailors in Erie could not go with 8.0,s while we were enjoying 3.5@4.0 wind down near buffalo.nov.10 1974 there were storm warnings@ Gale warnings on all 5 Great Lakes at the same time it was such a massive weather system!!!just sayin!

No shit Sherlock. It’s a tribute video and nowhere did I make any comparison of conditions but thanks for asking.

Nicely done.  We shake hands, cheers, and move on.

      Two killer wind warriors!

If we took it to the ring……………..

Michael Buffer if you would do the honors:

“In this corner we have Joe with a sail outa Erie PA also competing under the alias of Erie Joe

and in this corner we have:

Jason with a kite outa Rocha cha chester NY, also competing under the alias of JayGo.

Ladies and Gentlemen!!!!!!!!!!!!  Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One version of how this epic battle between two heavy weights would have played out (how do you have a loser with Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage??)

If you can tolerate some rap and a couple inappropriate words (forewarned) here is an Epic Rap Battle of History between two heavy weights.  Bill Gates vs Steve Jobs:

Thankfully these two guys figured it out and if so many miles weren’t between them, would be toasting over a beer (or a soda) with the rest of us.  Few people ride Erie on the biggest days, but they are two of the few.

Thanks for the vid Jay, and thanks for connecting with us Joe.

Thanks for indulging my humor above.

Great riding on the video above Jason, you are so smooth on that board, and riding solid both ways.  Has anything become of the Soloshot cam tripod you got?

Joe, Bill took a few shots of you that are up on his Facebook page and maybe the WNY wind/kite etc Facebook.  I did not have the balls (or the time either) to get to Buffalo last Sunday, and instead rode much bigger gear on Long Pond.  Six hours later I was to be laid up for two days in bed puking my brains out.  No, not the Long Pond Flu….my son was sick too…..I got some shots of some of the guys from Last Friday and Sunday that I will get up soon.

      Be well, and be safe.
