Another repeat of yesterday at Cranberry Pond. Before I report I would just like to say that no kite lines were harmed or injured during this session. I might also note that any human flesh damaged or left on the ice was totally voluntary and in no way encouraged or influenced by this website (owned and operated by Doug W.)

Before I showed up Chris had already put in an early session. I met my friend Kevin and we setup the iceboat which I let him sail for the duration while I rigged up the wing for another great session in the increasing challenging conditions i.e. snow drifts and gusts. Don, Jason and Mark arrived and a plethora of sailing toys were assembled on the ice. For some reason Jason setup his kite upwind and away from the crowd. I checked Mark’s jujube and all was right with the world so I sent him out on the wing. He immediately got the knack and had a decent enough session that I had to go out grab him so I could sail.  The gang all got some great rides exploring the whole expanse of the pond for the best conditions. At one point Jason’s all terrain tire studded kite vehicle, Don’s freeskate and my kitewing all safely shared the same ice and I imagine it must have looked a bit strange to onlookers seeing the different contraptions taking advantage of the good conditions! My chicken arms finally gave in and I packed up my stuff as more folks arrived for some sailing. You have to wonder if this is our last session of the season. The winter ice can be so fickle you have to grab it when you can.

Kim is not vomiting right now but gotta go anyway! Over and Outta here!
