Wow, already 1/2-way through October. I must have been distracted by the election…
SAT:
S wind, low to mid-teens with gusts in the 20s. Sail choice sort-of depends on the size of the gusts. This Fx is an up-rating from the last 2 days, so hopefully the trend will continue and it’ll be even bigger and a nice sunny day. Less gusty in the AM, more gusty in the PM, current Fx is for the good wind to be over by mid- to late-afternoon. Mid-morning arrival at Seneca probably a decent call.
SUN:
A few days ago, this was Fx for S and bigger than SAT, but now SAT is a decent S day and SUN is to go SW. Depending on the timing of change, could be a great day on Erie, and if it goes SW the Rochester gang will likely find Long Pond the best bang for buck. Current Fx shows mid-day to mid-afternoon as the windiest. Currently showing gusts in the upper 20s….I guess it’ll depend on how often that happens.
