Is there any hope for wind in the near future?

We keep missing the effects of some beautiful low pressure systems, by relatively small distances, as they traverse Canada. In the past few years these systems would give us good SW wind about once a week, but they are just not setting up for us in a friendly way.

A few of the models are showing some possible light SW wind for Thursday as another low pressure system crosses Canada again. Keep an eye it. And perhaps some light N wind for Friday as high pressure approaches. Keep an eye on that too. Looks like it cools off on Friday.

I only got 2 days wind last week and both on bigger gear. Slow season so far with only 24 sessions for me, compared to 50 sessions this time last year. Wind magnitude has been about the same as last year for those 24 sessions with average sail size 4.5m and board size 100 liters, but let’s hope the number of days increase.
