Hi, as I may have posted or you may have heard, my good pal Stu Snodgrass passed away last fall. We found homes for all of his stuff (2 quivers of sails and boards!), with the exception of one sail – a 1992 Gaastra Race Pro 10.0.

Stu told me about it, and as I vaguely recall he got it for his Mega Cat but hated uphauling it. I believe it was rigged and sailed just once. Been in it’s sail bag in Stu’s garage ever since.

Needs a loving home, probably belongs in a museum so I’m asking around. But if someone really wants it, it’s free. If I had a mast to do a 566 luff or 252 boom, I might rig it and try it with MY Mega Cat. But I’m not buying stuff to sail it! Will try to post a few pics.

Must be seen to be believed.

      Hey Geoff,

I may be able to help with this.  Social media (Facebook) has a number of groups dedicated to “Old School” windsurfing.  Posst about amazing finds like this abound.  Quite a collectors market here and in Europe.

Members include Robert Masters, The Feeter brothers etc….. from the early days as well as pros from the 90’s.

E mail me pics and I’ll see if I can find somebody for this sail.

      Wd
