This news has been all over social media, but if you missed it, kite tech and foil tech have come together to give us a new pursuit. Slingshot, Naish, Duotone and some others will be releasing these inflatable wings by the summer. Lots of questions…….
The lack of friction created via foil boarding has made this decades old concept a waterborne reality. The Wind Weapon (80’s) and Kitewing/Skimbat (1991) came before, and props to Tony Logosz at Slingshot for openly acknowledging those innovators on the Slingshot blog.
