A quick update to this……
Hopefully you have not been bothered too much by the spam infiltrating the forum page. I have been trying a few different things to try to limit spam bots from registering for the forum and then posting rubbish. It has been greatly reduced lately thanks to a few plugins I have found. It is a tricky balance between securing everything for those that want to be here, and locking everybody out. As a matter of fact, I was locked out from my own website for the past 24 hours as a preventative measure went to far.
Something you may notice is the requirement to complete a simple math problem before logging in. Most bots or automated spam has a harder time getting past this, so hopefully it will help. Sorry to add another thing, but get out your math flash cards and it shouldn’t be an issue. As always, e mail me from the contact if you every have any questions.
