The one time a year I go golfing and it had to be last Saturday, so I missed the Seneca party.
We did manage to catch the NW flow off the back of the front at Sodus on Sunday. Looked very promising when we arrived at about 10:30am and Gus was getting yanked out of the footstraps on his 5.5m. However, the wind steadily dropped all day, which means we were constantly rigging up and perpetually underpowered, eventually pumping our 17m’s just to stay on top of the water. Still managed to enjoy the sunshine and warm waters, and got some relatively boring video from the kiteline mounted GoPro:
No more golf for me.
